What to Expect at Your First Visit

At McGee & Perrier Kinesiology, your first visit is designed to give you clarity and direction for your care.

Before your appointment, we encourage you to complete your patient data sheet (available online or by email). This provides a snapshot of your health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and previous care, allowing your doctor to focus fully on you once you arrive.

When you arrive, we’ll take your vital signs and review any relevant imaging or lab work you’ve brought. From there, your doctor will perform a complete neurological and orthopedic examination, followed by a detailed muscle performance evaluation to assess how your body functions as an integrated system.

At the end of your exam, your doctor will review the findings with you and answer three key questions:
  1. What’s wrong?
  2. Can we help?
  3. How long should it take?
You’ll receive a clear explanation of your condition and recommended care plan. Most patients begin treatment the same day, with 20-minute soft-tissue, neuromuscular-based treatments focused on restoring movement, function, and balance.

No joint “popping” or traditional chiropractic adjustments are performed—our care is precise, gentle, and rooted in muscular re-education.

Your visits are designed to fit into your day, whether before work, after school, or between activities. We recommend avoiding skirts or revealing clothing. If needed, shorts or coverings will always be provided to ensure your comfort and privacy during the exam or treatment.

Our goal is to help you understand your body, your options, and your path to better movement and lasting health.

Visit Types

  • New Patient Exam: Comprehensive evaluation, including history, orthopedic, neurological, and muscle performance assessment.
  • Standard Visit: 20-minute neuromuscular treatment and progress evaluation.
  • Extended Visit: 40-minute visit for complex conditions or nutritional assessment.

Prepaid Visit Options

To make care more affordable and flexible, we offer reduced-cost prepaid 6-visit and 12-visit plans. These plans are designed for patients receiving ongoing care and allow for personal budgeting while maintaining high-quality treatment.

Payment & Insurance

Our office operates on a direct-care model to provide the highest level of individualized attention without the limitations of traditional insurance networks. Most of our services are eligible for reimbursement under out-of-network insurance benefits and health sharing plan reimbursements. We gladly provide superbills for self-filing on request.

We accept Health Spending Account (HSA), Flex Spending Account (FSA) payments, as well as cash, check, and major credit cards.

Patients appreciate the transparency, time, and results that come from this model—especially as high deductibles and limited coverage have become the norm.

Cancellation Policy

We value your time and strive to maintain a smooth schedule for all patients. If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 4 hours’ notice for standard visits and 24 hours for new patient appointments. We understand life happens and extend grace when appropriate.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a 'good faith estimate' explaining how much your care will cost. This includes all expected non-emergency items or services. For more information about your rights, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

"I can't say enough good things about McGee & Perrier Kinesiology. I've had so many dysfunctions fixed over 15 years by Dr. McGee that the list would be too long and boring. The first time I saw him he fixed hip pain that I had been living with for 12 years and had been growing worse and was starting to limit my activities. I'm a runner and biker mainly but love doing all sports and gardening too, so lots of up and down and working on my knees. Try them. They do great things for me!"

"Dr. Perrier has been extremely helpful in keeping my family healthy. The kids love to go because they feel so much better. I've referred many family and friends that have had the same experience. I'm training for my second half marathon and with Dr. Perrier's help, staying injury free."
